Does the U.S. still accept $1 dollar coins?
Excuse me, I was wondering if I could get some clarification on a matter regarding currency in the United States. Specifically, I'm curious to know if the country still accepts and circulates the one dollar coin, also known as the Sacagawea dollar or the golden dollar. I've heard conflicting information on this, and I'm hoping to get a definitive answer. Are these coins still in use and widely accepted as a form of payment in the U.S.?
